Janet Hodges, LPC

Beginning therapy may be an act of bravery or you may just be stepping out with the smallest bit of hope; doing it scared. The good news is you do not have to do it alone. Therapy is an opportunity to explore areas of your life where you may feel stuck and need a helping hand to assist you in detangling the snares and find freedom. My approach is holistic, considering body, mind, and spirit. It is person centered, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. Together we can explore the narratives of your story and develop new story lines that allow room for hope and healing while working at your own pace. I have training in various trauma modalities including EMDR that we can consider when the time is right. I also use a cognitive behavioral approach including skills training from REBT, CBT and DBT to assist you in developing a change plan that addresses thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I would love to offer my services in walking with you on your therapy journey holding hope as we travel through the process.
