Immanuel Johnson, MSW

I'm Immanuel — and if you're reading this, something in you is already moving in the right direction.

Whether you're a parent looking for the right fit for your kid, navigating something heavy on your own, or you've tried therapy before and it just didn't click — I want you to feel like this could actually be different. I work with kids 8 and up through adults, and I meet people in all kinds of seasons: life transitions, relationship stress, identity, anxiety, family dynamics, the kind of weight that's hard to name but impossible to ignore.

I'm a real person who also happens to be a clinical professional — and I bring both into the room. My approach is integrative, meaning I consider you as a whole person, not just a presenting problem. Our work will be intentional and collaborative. I'll challenge you when it's time, and I'm more interested in what's already in you than what's wrong with you.

About Me: Immanuel Johnson is a social worker and clinician whose path to the therapy room was shaped long before he ever held a clinical title. With a background spanning direct service, community engagement, program coordination, ministry leadership, and education, he brings a depth of real-world experience that informs how he shows up for every client.

His clinical training included providing individual, family, and group therapy — including parenting skills groups — as well as assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation. He has also worked directly with DFCS-involved families in a community-based role, coordinating resources, building partnerships, and supporting families navigating complex systems. Immanuel has led ministry initiatives supporting foster and adoptive families, equipping caregivers and building sustainable community around them.
